How Hair mask is more important than shampoo and conditioner?

We all long for the thick and luscious hair that we see in TV commercials. It takes a lot of effort and good camera skills for the flawless hair. Even though we can not do much on the camera skills we sure can do umpteen things to make our hair strong and luscious.
Shampoo and conditioner can not do much for your hair strength and nurioushing. First, the sole purpose of shampoo is to take the dirt and oil from your hair. You can focus on shampoo who would do that better but other than that shampoo can not do more.
Second is conditioner, which is basically silicone and essential fatty acids to smooth and detangle your hair. Unless they have oil extracts, vitamins or any other natural secret weapons, they are likely not concentrated enough to do magic with your hair.
Let’s know more about hair masks now.

What hair masks do?

Unlike a typical conditioner that rests on the surface of a strand, a hair mask works its way inside the hair cuticle. It’s hair masks and hair treatments that are made to work their magic on your hair. A great hair mask or hair treatment is what you need to look for to strengthen your hair.
They’re filled with concentrated ingredients that actively penetrate the structure of your hair and actually make a real difference.
These are the products destined solely to nourish and moisturize your hair. It’s their solejob to fix problems like dehydration, weakness, breakage, excessive falling out, sebum imbalance etc.
A great hair mask is what you need to invest in, in order to make sure you’re actually nourishing your hair with the necessary ingredients.

What hair masks do not do?

Once your hair has split, repairing with a hair mask is impossible.
Marie Robinson Salon colorist and Wella Professionals ambassador Mark Debolt told says  “These masks act like a Band-Aid to smooth and mend frayed ends. The only true remedy for split ends is a haircut appointment.”

On weekdays:
Take the time for 1-3 minutes
Apply a hair mask after shampooing, about 2-3 inches away from your scalp, all the way to the ends.
Keep on for about 1-3 minutes depending on how much time you have. Rinse, style as usual.
On weekends:
take the time for a 30 min treatment
